The Universidad de Santiago de Chile has individual and collective authorities. The individual authorities are: the President, the Pro President, the Vice Presidents, the General Secretary, the University's Legal and Financial Affairs Comptroller, the Deans, Directors of Schools, Programs and Departments. Collective authorities are: the University Directorate, the Academic Council and the Councils of Faculties, Schools, Programs and Departments.
The President is the most important individual authority. He governs the University and manages its patrimony, according to the institution’s statutes. At present, the Presidency is in charge of Mr. Juan Manuel Zolezzi, Doctor in Electrical Engineering Sciences.
